PLAYZE is renovating the „Alte Nazareth“ Church by Karl Friedrich Schinkel in Berlin’s Wedding district. As part of the renovation work, which includes plans for new use of the ground floor, Schinkel’s original flooring was discovered. This is now being carefully documented by mapping and marking the individual stones. The floor will then be temporarily stored to make room for the installation of underfloor heating. After completion of this work, the historical floor will be meticulously reconstructed and supplemented to restore it to its original form.
