The Basel team travelled to Berlin for the PLAYZE Christmas party. For two days, we not only celebrated, but also visited and discussed PLAYZE projects. On the first day, we visited the Moos project. The listed former bathtub factory in Moosdorfstrasse in Berlin was converted and extended using prefabricated timber construction. In close collaboration and constant negotiation with the client, a community of practices dedicated to sharing and shaping collective ventures, large communal apartments for up to nine adults and eleven children were created.

On the second day, we visited the Refugium Beelitz. The Refugium Beelitz project is located 30 kilometres southwest of Berlin. The project involves the renovation and conversion of a disused and historically significant sanatorium into studio residences. Afterwards, we visited the construction site of the renovation of the old Nazareth Church. Despite the extreme cold, we had a lot of fun!
