This project is part of our urban renewal series in Shanghai. We were invited to renovate and extend the famous Blackstone Apartments and the surrounding buildings right opposite the Shanghai Symphony Orchestra Concert Hall. Blackstone Apartments or Fuxing Apartments (Chinese: 黑石公寓) are the first purpose-built luxury apartments for expatriates in Shanghai, China. Now the block has been transformed into a place where artists, musicians and visitors mingle.
