Berlin-based dentist Meindentist is expanding its network of clinics in and around Berlin. In Adlershof, the start-up area of the German capital, PLAYZE designed and built this 800 sqm dental clinic with 18 treatment rooms, a dental surgery and an orthodontic centre, including back offices and waiting areas. Great emphasis was placed on the spatial experience of patients, especially children, to create a relaxing and calming environment before treatment. The waiting area includes a cinema, a reading corner and a children's play area with a TV. Another aim of the layout and design was to break up the typology of the corridors by meandering the path and using the furniture as a privacy screens to the treatment rooms.
