Haus Stralsund
Living in a timber house.
This house, close to the Strelasund (Baltic Sea), is designed to accommodate all the main functions on the first floor. The two-storey kitchen/dining room forms the spatial centre of the house. Precise openings and vertical slat walls create a spatial interplay between open and closed moments. The L-shaped main house, together with the sauna and garden house, forms an enclosed garden inspired by East Asian courtyard typologies.
