At the historic Pfefferberg in Berlin, a new brewery has settled, the Pfefferbräu. We were commissioned to redesign the restaurant and bar area as well as the adjoining theatre foyer. Our strategy was to retain the historical monument in its raw appearance and to insert the new functions with the necessary infrastructure into the existing building like an intarsia.
