The site for this project is situated in the vibrant Xuhui district, surrounded by dense residential areas and in close proximity to primary schools. The development preserves the function of the original workers' cultural and sports center in the annex, while the main building is being transformed from a hotel into apartments designed for individuals with special talents.

A new skin of white perforated metal panels envelops and unifies the existing building parts. This approach conceals the building's original, rigid details while giving it a fresh, cohesive appearance.

A key feature of the project is the openness of the public spaces. The landscaped plaza at the corner echoes the curvilinear design, offering a welcoming area for the local community. The commercial spaces on the ground floor are designed to serve not only residents of the building but also a wider community.

As a result of the modernisation, the building has become a dynamic place that seamlessly combines culture, sport, living and commerce and is intended to serve as a catalyst for greater social cohesion in the neighbourhood.

基地位于繁华的徐汇区，紧邻小学，被密集居住区环绕。本项目将原工人文化体育中心裙房功能保留，主楼则由酒店转型为人才公寓，以适应区域发展需求。

设计上，我们采用白色穿孔金属板，以弧形设计语言重塑建筑外观，覆盖原建筑繁琐细节，赋予其流畅、现代的形象。新增室外疏散楼梯融入表皮系统，与整体设计和谐统一，提升安全性与实用性。

公共空间的开放性是本项目的一大特色，街角景观广场与弧形设计相呼应，为社区居民提供休闲场所。人才公寓底商既服务公寓住户，也便利社区居民，实现商业与社区生活的无缝对接。

通过现代化改造，项目成为一个集文化、体育、居住和商业于一体的活力社区，提升居住品质，增强社区凝聚力。
