Raststätte is the somewhat different canteen. It is initiated and run by VIA Blumenfisch gGmbH, a recognised workshop (WfbM) for people with disabilities. They support people entering or re-entering the world of work.The client's extensive experience was extremely valuable for the development of the project.

The canteen consists of a large open seating area, a café and a kitchen with adjoining rooms for staff training and catering. Characteristic elements of the existing building, such as the brick vaults, inspired the design.
